Founded in 2020 by Tom, Dom and Dove, our bakery started with a small team of just eight passionate people. Today, we’re proud to have grown into a team of around 65 amazing staff members over 5 sites – all united by one simple goal: to create delicious, handcrafted baked goods that bring people together.

At the heart of everything we do is our community. Our slogan, “The People’s Bakery,” isn’t just a tagline – it’s a promise. We design our menus around what our customers want, turning every visit into more than just a trip for bread or pastries. 

Every loaf, pastry, cake, and doughnut we create is made with love by our incredible team. We also believe everyone should have a treat to enjoy – so we’ve developed an extensive range of free-of-gluten and vegan products. Inspired by family experiences and listening to our community, we’re constantly innovating to make sure there’s something for everyone.

More than a bakery, we’re a hub for connection, creativity, and, of course, amazing baked goods. Whether you’re popping in for your morning coffee, grabbing a bacon butty, celebrating a special occasion, or just craving a sweet treat, we can’t wait to welcome you to our bakery.

We bake the way it’s always been done — by hand, from scratch, and with care.

When we say homemade, we mean it. The bread, the pastries, the cakes, even the syrups for our coffees — made right here in our kitchen in Tuckton, early each morning while most of the town is still asleep. Flour on the floor, warmth from the ovens, and the smell of fresh baked goods in the air. That’s how our days begin.

We’re fuelled by a love for honest, great food and a deep respect for our local community. This bakery isn’t just where we work — it’s part of who we are.

Every loaf on our shelves has been shaped, proved, and baked by hand that very morning. We don’t pack up until we’re proud of what’s come out of the oven. It’s hard work, but good food always is.

Local First
If we can get it in Dorset, we do. We believe in backing our own — farmers, millers, growers, neighbours.

We bake for familiar faces. For the early risers, the lunchtime regulars, the weekend families. For our town.

We’d rather see empty shelves at the end of the day than ever sell something we wouldn’t serve at our own table.
